One Benign Journey!

Flipping the pages of the novel and looking into the view outside the window are the two best things, I like to do while traveling. The best part of the journey via train is that the surrounding landscapes are never the same. It keeps changing constantly as the train accelerates toward the various stops and stations in between.

It’s soothing to see the trees and the fields stretched upto where our eyes can see, racing with us and ultimately having left behind. We, on the other side, are more excited to welcome a new set of domain. We meet several people, community, settlements on the way, trying to understand by observing them without communicating. At several points, one can see the game of cricket on the patches of land left vacant after harvesting the crops. River and Mountains keep us engaged to the outside view. Temples, Mosques, Churches and Gurudwara Sahib falling besides the railway tracks signals us toward the diversity and integrity of the country, simultaneously. Well constructed houses on one side and the huts/dilapidated houses on the other shows the aspiration to live luxurious life and the struggle to survive, respectively.

Even the familier paths look strange while traveling, as each time, we try to peep into them with increased curiosity!
