I often visit my village whenever I am home. I meet and greet several elderly people (because they're the only ones left). The remarkable thing is that my language involuntarily turns to Magahi, the dialect spoken in parts of Bihar and Jharkhand.

An Ode to the Cycle in Prose
Cycle is life, cycling is an art. There is no art, no life, no skill greater than cycling. A cycle can be your best friend, a true companion if you're seeking one. One should cycle whenever one gets time or even during work. Cycling should never stop. Not even at night. One can cycle on … Continue reading An Ode to the Cycle in Prose
Unique people, Strange stories
We met, meet and will keep meeting people as long as life exists. Unique people. Weird people. Typical people. People of different kinds. Let's not say queer because it can spark another kind of debate. It is interesting to note that the trait that makes people weird is what makes them unique too. As you … Continue reading Unique people, Strange stories
Selfing
12:45 AM The tranquillity in the environment is being interloped by certain things such as the click of the keys, feeble tik-tik sounds from the hands of the table clock and the fan running at full speed. A book of poetry which is next on your reading list is kept above the book written by … Continue reading Selfing

Light and Shadow!
A thought before grabbing my chair Why do we always need some light source for the formation of a shadow whereas, the light and shadow symbolises two different aspects? One Benign Journey!
Flipping the pages of the novel and looking into the view outside the window are the two best things, I like to do while traveling. The best part of the journey via train is that the surrounding landscapes are never the same. It keeps changing constantly as the train accelerates toward the various stops and … Continue reading One Benign Journey!
Journey and Destination!
Are the terms journey and destination relative? Or are they absolute? Does the goal of every journey is to reach to certain destination or sometimes, a journey should be undertaken without caring about the destination? The things are a bit tangeld up. Isn't it? According to me, Journey is merely the process on which we … Continue reading Journey and Destination!

Uncaged!?
Perching under the vast stretches of sky, some on the naked wire carrying high current, a few on the signboards - still deciding which way to go and most of them on the ground, picking grains, the uncaged birds have their own ballad which sings about their journey. The grains, unfurled by the old man … Continue reading Uncaged!?
Dear Sun!
Every morning, you knock at the window of my heart to nourish me through your divine beauty. This Kind of Wish!
I often think of a moment when the droplets of water furrows down the window amidst the lushful greenery on a rainy day and I, sitting near it in my dimly lighted room to embrace the nacent cool air patting on my face.
